Technical Specifications:
• Files should be sent on CD or DVD. Please make sure that you label your disc clearly and provide a full list to accompany the disc with the names of all files, images, logos etc that you have included.
• Files should be in Mac format; adverts should be created in QuarkXpress 7 or earlier (with EPS images – logos and illustrations – created in Illustrator in CMYK mode). Alternatively a high resolution (300dpi) PDF file of the completed advert can be e-mailed as an attachment. A colour printed proof copy must accompany files. PC files will incur additional charges.
• Scanned images must be high resolution (ie not less than 300dpi) in TIFF or EPS format with image cut-outs being created in Photoshop (not QuarkXpress). If scans need reducing by more than 50%, this should be done in Photoshop (not QuarkXpress) to avoid image deterioration. Postscript fonts should be used and supplied with the advertisement. TrueType fonts are not acceptable.
• Warning! Check your files. It is important that your digital files
are accompanied by all associated files, fonts and images.
